Summary
ECHO VAULT is an offline puzzle game. It has no account system, no user registration, no server backend and no cloud save. Your campaign progress, daily signal records, Fragments balance and settings are stored only on the device you play on.
The app includes Google Mobile Ads (rewarded video only) and Google Play Billing. Those two components are the only parts of the app that can transmit information, and they do so under Google's own policies.
What the app stores on your device
- Campaign progress, star ratings and best move counts, in a local database (Room), to remember your progress between sessions.
- Daily Signal completion records, in a local database (Room), to show your personal decode history and to make sure the same day is not rewarded twice.
- Fragments balance and reward ledger, in a local database (Room), to track the in-game point balance honestly.
- Settings (sound, haptics, reduced motion and tutorial completed), in local DataStore, to remember your preferences.
- In-progress puzzle position, in a local database (Room), so an interrupted puzzle can resume safely.
None of this data is transmitted to us. We operate no servers and receive no analytics.
Deleting the app, or using Settings → Reset progress, erases this data from your device. Reset progress deliberately does not remove a Signal Pass purchase entitlement, so a purchase is never lost to a progress reset.
Advertising
The app can show rewarded video advertisements. There are no banner ads, no interstitial ads and no app-open ads, and no advertisement ever appears over the game board.
When you choose to watch a rewarded video, the Google Mobile Ads SDK is responsible for serving it. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect device identifiers, advertising data, app interactions and crash data. Google handles that information under its own policies, including Google's privacy policy, Google Privacy & Terms and the Google Play In-App Purchases / Ads data disclosure page. Typical information a mobile ads SDK may process includes:
- Device identifiers (such as Android advertising ID)
- IP address
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Device model, operating system version, screen resolution, language
- Advertising interaction data (an ad was requested, shown, watched to completion)
- Crash and performance diagnostics
If you would rather not see advertising at all, the Signal Pass — Remove Ads one-time in-app purchase disables every rewarded offer in the game. Playback of the game itself is never interrupted by advertising, and no gameplay advantage is sold.
You can also control ad-related data through your device's Android advertising settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
In-app purchases
The Signal Pass is sold through Google Play Billing. Purchases are handled and verified by Google Play; the app receives only the product identifier and a purchase token needed to confirm that you own the entitlement. The entitlement state is cached on your device so the app can hide advertising offers while offline. Full refunds, family sharing and regional pricing are governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
Children
ECHO VAULT is suitable for a general audience. Because it contains rewarded advertising, it is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because your data never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to export or delete on a server. You can erase everything locally by clearing the app's storage or by using Settings → Reset progress.
If you have a question about this policy, use the contact page, or contact us through the developer contact details published on the Google Play listing for this app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same URL and the "last updated" date above will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
