Quotation generator: price the scope, then check the margin

Margin is 60.0% on price — ₹42,000.00 of profit over ₹28,000.00 of cost on the lines where you entered one. This covers only the lines you costed, so treat it as a floor on the project margin rather than the margin itself.

Copy the summary here once the lines are complete.

How this is calculated. Line amount = quantity × unit price. Line tax = line amount × tax rate ÷ 100, applied per line so mixed rates stay separate. Subtotal = sum of line amounts. Total tax = sum of line taxes. Total = subtotal + total tax. Line cost = quantity × unit cost. Gross profit = subtotal − line cost. Margin on price = gross profit ÷ subtotal × 100. Markup on cost = gross profit ÷ line cost × 100.

What this is not. It is a working calculation and a copyable summary, not an issued quotation. NoxOrigin has no e-signature, so nothing here is signed, sent, or accepted on your behalf — the quotation document stays yours to prepare, issue, and follow up. Tax is added at the rate you enter on each line; this tool does not file anything with any authority. If the work grows past what these lines describe, raise the additional work as a new quotation rather than absorbing it into this one. The example rows above are placeholders — replace them with your own scope and rates, which is the only input here that has any authority behind it.

Want quotations that become invoices without re-typing?

The output here is a working calculation and a copyable summary — you prepare, issue, and follow up your own quotation document. Where it connects to a system is the step after: in NoxOrigin a won quotation carries its line items and tax treatment into delivery, and an accepted quotation becomes an invoice on the same client record, so the price you quoted and the price you can invoice stay the same number. Additional scope is quoted as a new quotation rather than absorbed into the first one.
