- Use-case triage. List candidate use cases and score them on value, risk, and data readiness before any model is selected.
- Pilot design. Design a small, measurable pilot with explicit success criteria, an exit plan, and an audit trail.
- Consent and privacy review. Confirm the consent posture, data minimisation, retention, and the human-in-the-loop step before going live.
- Rollout and review. Roll out in slices, instrument the workflow, and review the audit trail at the end of each slice.

What is explicitly out of scope
- We do not deploy AI in workflows where the failure mode would silently harm a customer or operator without a human checkpoint.
- AI outputs are reviewed against the audit trail; AI is not treated as a final decision-maker on customer-facing actions.
