Agency operating system

Agency operations software for the work between "won" and "paid".

NoxOrigin connects pipeline, projects, assignments, quotes, GST invoices, collections, and client-level money for agencies, consultancies, studios, and professional services teams — so the gap between selling work and getting paid for it stops being invisible.

The four pressures that decide whether an agency is profitable

These are operational, not cultural. They happen because the information needed to catch them is split across tools that do not talk to each other.

Margin is a feeling until someone reconciles it

Agencies usually know their revenue and little else. Without quoted, billed, and collected held apart, a strong month can turn out to be a quarter of unpaid invoices.

Scope creep lives in a channel

The extra work a client asked for is agreed verbally, delivered anyway, and never re-estimated, so the project that was profitable on paper quietly stopped being profitable.

New starters need a briefing call to be useful

When context lives in inboxes and personal calendars, every hire spends weeks reconstructing the history that is already written down somewhere.

Growth is capped by the founder's memory

When only one person knows how the pipeline, projects, and invoices reconcile, the studio cannot grow past that person's working day.

How the operating day actually runs

A sequence a delivery lead and a founder can both use, rather than a list of features to be impressed by.

01

Pipeline with real stage definitions

Leads and opportunities carry a source, an owner, a stage with entry and exit expectations, and a dated next action, so a deal cannot sit in "in progress" indefinitely without someone owning why.

02

Won deal becomes delivery

A won opportunity is turned into a project that inherits the client, the contacts, and the agreed scope, instead of starting life as an orphan task list assembled from an email thread.

03

Assignments carry the commitment

Each task has one assignee and, where it matters, a due date. A task assigned to a team is a task nobody is personally behind, so the assignment is the control.

04

Repeating client work is modelled

Retainers, check-ins, renewals, and site visits become recurring follow-ups that are dated and assigned, so they survive someone taking leave.

05

Billing reads the delivery record

Quotes become GST invoices against the client and project, payments are recorded, and payment promises carry the collection conversation forward.

06

Weekly review runs off real numbers

The founder opens Today for attention items, then client money for quoted, billed, collected, and outstanding, and decides which work to stop taking.

One client record across sales, delivery, and finance

The client context that delivery needs is the same context sales built and finance bills against — which is why it lives on one record rather than three.

What an agency should not expect from this

Clear boundaries are cheaper than disappointment during a busy delivery month.

A studio that only needs a timesheet

NoxOrigin is not a time-tracking or payroll product. If the only gap is capturing hours, a lightweight timesheet is the cheaper fit.

A media buying or ad-spend operation

Campaign spend, attribution, and ad-platform integrations are outside the current scope of the platform areas.

Product or engineering roadmaps

There is no backlog, sprint planning, or developer backlog module here. Delivery is modelled as client projects, tasks, and assignments.

A white-label deployment for your own clients

That exists, but it is scoped and quoted as a dedicated deployment of NoxCRM, Nox-Billings, or Nox-Tickets rather than as a self-serve NoxOrigin subscription.

Plans for agencies

Agency is ₹5,000/month or ₹48,000/year: 25 users, 3 workspaces, 250 active projects, and 50,000 contacts, with Razorpay payment links, multiple sales processes, and full project economics. Smaller consultancies often start on Growth.

Agency operations software questions

What is the difference between agency operations software and agency management software?

They describe the same operating model. Agency management software usually emphasises the client relationship and the record; agency operations software emphasises how the work, the assignments, and the money actually move day to day. On NoxOrigin both are the same product: CRM, Work, Finance, and Reports read one set of records.

Does it support multiple teams and separate workspaces?

Yes. Workspaces, branches, teams, people, roles, and workspace-scoped permissions are part of the platform layer, so teams with genuinely separate operations can keep separate records while a consolidated view reads the same underlying data. The Agency plan includes up to 3 workspaces; additional workspaces are a published add-on.

Can I see which client work is not being billed?

Quoted, billed, collected, and outstanding are four separate states, reported per client and per project. The gap between quoted and billed is the view that shows work that was agreed and never invoiced, and each number can be traced back to the records it came from.

Will it tell me which project is profitable?

Project economics are included in the Agency plan, so you can read project-level commercial context rather than only a company total. It is not a fully automatic cost-accounting model: NoxOrigin does not post your overhead, payroll, or vendor costs for you, so treat project economics as commercial review rather than as audited margin.

What does it cost for an agency?

The Agency plan is ₹5,000 per month or ₹48,000 per year, with 25 users, 3 workspaces, 250 active projects, 50,000 contacts, Razorpay payment links, multiple sales processes, and full project economics. Growth is ₹1,600 per month and is often the right starting point for a smaller consultancy.
